Vail Resorts Closes on CBMR Acquisition

It's official! The Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass and Military Epic Pass now include unlimited, unrestricted access to Crested Butte Mountain Resort. Vail Resorts has officially closed on it's acquisition of Triple Peaks, LLC which is the parent company of Crested Butte Mountain Resort, Okemo Mountain Resort and Mount Sunapee Resort.

The 2018 Crested Butte Music Festival wrapped up this past weekend with a Mariachi band on Elk Avenue. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for 2019!

"Summer is in full swing in Crested Butte as our visitors are returning earlier and earlier each year to enjoy the quieter days of June. The real estate market continues to march along at a solid pace. Interestingly enough with almost the same number of transaction as last year, the dollar volume in sales is down approximately 18%." Well, we relived that part of our history last week when a home that was built 30 years ago was moved from Crested Butte to Crested Butte South. Seeing all the work that had to go into moving the house from Town to CB South with today’s technology, it really makes you wonder how they went about moving the cabins from Irwin so many years ago.
